This smart chip can be installed on a refilled SAMSUNG MLT-D203E, MLT-D203L, MLT-D203S, MLT-D203U cartridge so that the toner level can be indicated by your printer.

Without a smart chip installed, your printer's toner level indicator will always read "low" even after the cartridge has been refilled. However, it will still print.
Purchasing this chip will allow your printer to display its toner level accurately and will let you know when you are about to run of toner.
