InkOwl Toner Refills are not UNIVERSAL. This means that each kit is specially formulated for your laser cartridge. If you cannot find your printer or cartridge model, do not hesitate to contact us. We probably support your printer.

Toner refilling is easy, our step-by-step instructions will guide you through the process.

The toner included in this kit will yield 3000 pages of black and 2300 pages of color at 5% page coverage. This is the same yield as a set of original high-yield cartridges.

With this product, you can re-use your same expensive laser cartridge, which amounts to huge $$$ savings and to less cartridges in landfills. Toner refilling is environmentally friendly.

This refill kit can be used to refill original BROTHER TN-223, TN-227 cartridges, starter cartridges, and compatible cartridges. However, after refilling, the toner level needs to be reset in order to resume printing:

• Original, name-brand BROTHER TN-223, TN-227 cartridges can be reset as many times as desired.
• Starter cartridges (the ones that are included when the printer is bought) can be reset once, after which you will need to purchase a Flag Gear Kit to continue refilling and resetting the cartridge.
• Compatible non-BROTHER cartridges can only be refilled and reset once.

*NOTE* Refilling the laser cartridges that this kit is compatible with involves drilling a hole into your cartridge. The use of an electric drill can cause plastic shavings to enter the toner compartment which may seriously damage the cartridge. We strongly recommend the use of our HOLE-IN-ONE laser cartridge holemaking tool as this tool does not create plastic shavings.
