InkOwl Toner Refills are not UNIVERSAL. This means that each kit is specially formulated for your laser cartridge. If you cannot find your printer or cartridge model, do not hesitate to contact us. We probably support your printer.

The refill included in this kit will yield 1600 pages at 5% page coverage.

This product contains enough toner to refill your cartridge one (1) time.

With this product, you can re-use your same expensive laser cartridge, which amounts to huge $$$ savings and to less cartridges in landfills. Toner refilling is environmentally friendly.

**Note about refilling HP CF217A (17A), CF218A (18A), CF230A (30A), CF231 (31A), CF294A (94A) cartridges: Refilling these models requires making a hole into the cartridge. Since the spacing on these cartridges is quite tight, we strongly recommend the use of our narrow (3/8") toner cartridge holemaking tool. An ordinary 1/2" diameter toner holemaking tool does not leave enough room to properly position and seal the hole, so purchasing our narrow 3/8" tool is strongly advised. The use of an electric drill is not recommended since plastic shavings entering the toner compartment may seriously damage the cartridge.

**Note about refilling HP CF230X (30X), CF294X (94X) cartridges: Refilling this model requires making a hole into the cartridge. Since the spacing on this cartridge is fairly tight, we recommend the use of our narrow (3/8") toner cartridge holemaking tool. However, an ordinary 1/2" diameter toner holemaking tool will also work. The use of an electric drill is not recommended since plastic shavings entering the toner compartment may seriously damage the cartridge.

HP CF217A (17A), CF218A (18A), CF230A (30A), CF230X (30X), CF231A (31A), CF294A (94A), and CF294X (94X) cartridges are built with "smart chips" which allow the printer software to display an accurate toner level. However, replacing this chip is not mandatory for the refilled cartridge to work. The printer will still function normally, although the printer software will state that the cartridge is empty and the low toner warnings will persist.
