Filling these refillable cartridges is extremely simple: remove the plug, inject ink, and replace the plug.
The cartridges are much bigger than original BROTHER cartridges. They can fit up to 100ml of black ink or 70ml of color ink which means that you have to refill a lot less often.
The cartridges come with permanent chips installed. Although accurate ink levels will not be displayed by the printer, the cartridges are translucent, so you can refill whenever you see that a cartridge needs it.
