A pigment-based ink like this one is absolutely essential when refilling EPSON C3500 series label printers. A dye-based ink can cause pigment coagulation which can ruin your printhead.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for your printer to accept the refilled cartridge, its ink level must be reset using a Chip Resetter for EPSON C3500.
