This summer, Epson refreshed its WorkForce product line with a number of new printer models (see the full list below). These new printers all use the same pigment-based ink as the previous iteration of printers. Epson's Durabrite Ultra ink, along with our color-matched InkOwl Premium Pigmented replacement produce vibrant fade-resistant pictures and crisp highlighter-resistant text.

We are proud to already offer a refillable cartridge solution for the #252/254 series with auto-reset chips. Like our other refillable cartridges for Epson, these special cartridges can be refilled easily thanks to their built-in ink plugs. When a cartridge goes empty, simply remove, refill, and reinstall, and the auto-reset chip will once again indicate a full ink level.
Please note that auto-reset chips for the #220 and #786 series are still in development and, as such, we do not have a refill solution available at this time.
Since printers using the #220 and #786 cartridge series cannot, as of yet, be refilled, we cannot recommend these models. On the other hand, we believe that the WorkForce models using the #252/254 series are an excellent choice for a household or small business that needs an economical all-in-one printer that can also produce fade-resistant photos. In addition, some of the models can print on paper up to 13x19" in size.
