Updated Refilling Solutions for HP 940: Functioning Chips and Better Glossy Photos

We are proud to finally announce the introduction of chips for our HP 940 refillable cartridges as well as an updated ink formulation which offers excellent results on glossy papers. These new updates definitely improve the appeal of our HP 940 refill solution.

Our new permanent chips for HP 940 refillable cartridges are designed specifically for refillers. Previously, we recommended that our customers re-use their existing chips. However, this meant that when the ink levels on those chips reached zero, error messages sometimes resulted on the printer. Our permanent chips, with all four installed, will not produce any error messages on the printer, allowing you to use the refillable cartridge system indefinitely and productively, without interruption. The chips don't display an ink level on the printer (no pesky ink low messages). This is actually a good thing because it leaves it up to the user to decide when to refill. Since our refillable cartridges are transparent with the ink clearly visible, this is not a problem.

Our updated ink formulation was developed in response to complaints that our previous ink does not dry well enough on glossy paper. This issue has been completely resolved. With our newest formulation compatible pigmented ink for HP 940 printers, your glossy photographs will look identical to ones printed with original HP ink.

If you own a HP OfficeJet Pro 8000, 8000A, 8500, or 8500A, and have not yet tried our HP 940 refillable cartridge system, we strongly recommend you do to save 85% on your ink costs! We will continue to sell our older "1st-generation" compatible cartridges at a reduced price while supplies last.

Our new 2nd-generation chips are a unique innovation which enable a significant 40% savings all while allowing equivalent functionality to the originals from HP.
