The installation of this smart chip is required for a refilled SAMSUNG MLT-D101S cartridge to function properly. Note that this chip is already included in our SAMSUNG MLT-D101S refill kits.
This chip allows your printer to display its toner level accurately and will let you know when you are about to run of toner. It is calibrated to the page yield of our toner kits (1500 pages at 5% page coverage).
Our replacement smart chips are wholly compatible. This means that once installed, the printer will immediately see the cartridge as new and let you resume printing. Their stick-on design makes installation extremely simple.
